New CraftBoston Manager: Molly Burroughs

Posted on May. 04, 2021

The Society of Arts + Crafts is pleased to announce the hiring of Molly Burroughs as our new CraftBoston Manager.

Molly is taking over the CraftBoston Manager role from Jean Seestadt who recently left the organization for a new position in New York City. We thank Jean for her many valuable contributions and her untiring efforts to make CraftBoston great as the world changed around us due to COVID-19. We all wish her the very best for her future, and will miss her.

Molly is a graduate of Williams College with a degree in Art History and History. Prior to joining the Society in the Summer of 2020, she worked at Vose Galleries, Cuseum, and the Clark Art Institute. Initially, Molly was was hired to support the organization with administrative functions, then quickly graduated to improving the SA+C’s background operations, a task that proved important as the organization shifted into a digital entity during the pandemic. Most recently, Molly also worked closely with the staff on CraftBoston and has been involved in many different aspects of the program. Her new position recognizes her efforts thus far.

Please join us in welcoming Molly to her new role, and in wishing her the best of success. The SA+C team is looking forward to working with her as we grow and expand the CraftBoston experience moving forward!
