More is Better!

The SA+C is happy to present an entire new year of online CraftBoston events: showcasing four distinct themes, CraftBoston 2021 will surprise, entertain and display craft creativity at its best!

Look forward to new work in a great variety of craft media that will let you experience the skills, innovations, and ingenuity of contemporary craft artists. As featured during the 2020 Holiday Show, we are again planning a whole series of exciting events and content for 2021 — workshops, artist studio tours, informative blogs — that offer insights into the fascinating and creative lives of our community. Of course, our 2021 Holiday Show will remain the gift-centric display you have come to like and expect.

Our first show is “Studs + Drops”, a show that focuses on the ancient art of earrings, online from March 26 – May 28, 2021.

Then stay tuned for “Fiber Stories”, which will start July 16, and showcases wearables, decorative fiber work and stories that have been passed down through generations. On September 10, 2021 “Cups of Good” will focus on cups, mugs, vases and vessels of all types. (Pssst: From our artists’ homes to yours: Look out for delicious recipes to come with the artwork.)

A note on behalf of the artist community we serve:

Artists brought music and cultural events directly to our homes during the pandemic; they taught us new hobbies and helped us brush up on some of our almost forgotten hand skills. The SA+C is committed to supporting craft artists and to raising awareness of the vital importance of a healthy cultural sector. With your purchase you DIRECTLY impact an artist and a livelihood centered around creativity and are supporting them right back! Thank you.

Come back and visit us often — we always have something new for you to discover!
