More info: Double Arrows, an exhibition featuring jewelers Elizabeth James-Perry, Erin Genia, Jonathan James-Perry, and Tufts professor, Tanya Crane. A 2023 NEA Heritage Fellow, Elizabeth James-Perry will lecture on our shared human interdependencies with the natural world, and of her journey to render anew the purple wampum ornaments and woven objects of her tribal Aquinnah Wampanoag heritage. We will meet SMFA metalsmithing students in their studios along with their professor, Tanya Crane, and will view works of art for purchase by the exhibitors.
