Sputnik Frigidaire

Perfect for that mid-century modern revival living room! Working with these shapes and colors kept me thinking about planets and satellites, mid-century modern lines, and kitchen appliances from the 1960s ... hence its name. (Did you know that Frigidaire was owned by General Motors in those days? Oh, give me a car with some tail fins and a fine paint job!) While this quilt will be stationary on your wall, the differing textures of machine quilting and big stitch hand-quilting give it movement. Companion music: Telstar by The Tornados and Satellite by Guster Hanging rod and nails included

Fiber/Decorative (fiber wall hanging)
