Anomalous 2

By Tracy S Mastro

1 in stock

Anomalous 2, antique white, green, warm red, and pink with black dashes. From the New Normal series of paintings I made in response to the shift in everyday routines and focus with the arrival of pandemic sensibilities. I chose colors from my palette of new and vintage enamels that would play off one another in contrast and compatibility. Multiple layers of sifted enamel are each kiln fired onto a fold formed copper sheet (approx. 3x3 inches). The enamel piece is mounted to float 1/8 inch above a painted wood panel (4x4x1.5 inches). Sawtooth hangers and bumpers are attached to the back of the panel for hanging .
