Pop Box

The Pop Box is named because the artist loves the color red. In this box, red contrasts or pops out against the gray and stone colored lid. The artist also loves polka dots, which do their own version of popping here! Constructed from hand-cut paper board, the box is double-walled. The sides are covered with red and vanilla colored tissue papers, gray and stone colors for the lid and knob, and black Lamali paper for the curving lines and polka dots on the lid. The interior of the box replicates the colors and patterns of the knob. The box is finished with clear sealant for protection.
