My Life as an Earring

By Sally Prangley

My Life as an Earring is made with tiny found objects wired into annealed steel frames that complement each object’s shape. Despite its title, My Life as an Earring is sold in pairs! I have an extensive collection of found objects from which I choose items that represent a variety of textures, colors, shapes, and prior purposes. An example of the tiny objects I use is included here. This all makes for jewelry that is ready for an interesting conversation…. And because most of the things I use are one of a kind, each pair of earrings varies in its found objects.
