The artist’s Crosshatch Series of earrings is inspired by her love of Maurice Sendak illustrations, a genius in his use of crosshatching. This pair has a hill shape, and the pattern is continued on the reverse side. Made of stainless steel and a variety of papers, the crosshatch details are slivers of white paper applied by the tip of a tiny paintbrush dipped in glue. Sealed for use and protection.
