A cheerful, useful, food safe bowl. Use it for serving, but microwave or oven is not recommended. Hand wash is better but being stoneware, it can handle the dishwasher. It is also a wonderful jardinière for your favorite potted plant. It will keep your biscuits and rolls warm too. This bowl was taken off the potters wheel as a basic form then altered in stages by stretching and pushing. The orange blossoms were individually sculpted and applied. Several layers of glazes were applied by dipping and brushing to create the varied shades and textures.

Ceramic (Mid range stoneware clay fired in an electric kiln. )
